The Northwest Palliative Care Social Work Network is an affinity group intended to build community among social workers specializing in palliative care across our region. Our members practice in hospitals, outpatient clinics, embedded specialty services, and outreach programs; in urban and rural areas; and with teams of various size though often with few or no other palliative care social worker in their institutions. The Network creates space for us to share experience, resources, educational opportunities, and new initiatives to support best practice and nurture the professional development of participants and our discipline.
